Fonio<\/strong> is an ancestral cereal<\/strong> cultivated for more than 7,000 years<\/strong> in West Africa. For a long time considered a food of the humblest, today it is recovering its value and gaining space in specialized stores<\/strong> and healthy diets all over the world. <\/p>\n

Naturally gluten-free<\/strong> and rich in essential nutrients<\/strong>, fonio contains a high concentration of minerals<\/strong> such as iron, zinc and magnesium, as well as essential amino acids<\/strong>, making it an excellent choice for people with gluten intolerance<\/strong> or celiac disease<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

This cereal is also very resistant and hardy<\/strong>: it grows in poor, sandy or stony soils and withstands both drought and heavy rains. Thanks to this resistance, fonio is a key food for food security<\/strong> in several regions of the Sahel. <\/p>\n
